I really have enjoyed reading the articles on this site. They cause me to smile, laugh, and nod my head in agreement quite often. I was wondering what is the process of actually submitting an article of my own to see if you would like to post it. Whether or not you end up liking it, thanks for creating this website!
Hey, thanks for the interest! I think the easiest way to do this is just to send me something that you think would fit in at Musings. Then, I will happily give you feedback and suggestions. Just make sure you’ve read the submission guidelines, please. 🙂 And fyi, typical Musings articles run from 800 to 1,000 words.
Or, if there’s something you’ve posted on your blog that you think might fit, just send me the link, and I’ll be happy to take a look at it.
Keep me posted!
Yeah. Me. Give insight into dating…
Hi Guys – I signed on with a desire to contribute some of my work to your site. In spite of reading your guidelines for submissions, I don’t see a channel to do so. Please advise,
Ok – I just read the above post so belay my last – Here is a link…..
Hope you like and if you do I’ll gladly share more.
Can you please email me specific articles or article ideas? I don’t really have time to sort through your entire blog and tell you which ones will or won’t work for Musings. Thanks!
A friend of mine pointed me to this site and I have to say I enjoyed reading all the articles I found. I am not exactly a professional writer, but I would like to share some of my experiences, if permitted. Like Terry, I did not see a channel to actually submit an entry, but here’s a link to one of my Blog entries. Please take a look, read, laugh, and criticize away.
Please click the “Write With Us” link on the right of the main menu. That’ll give you the information (and email address) you need to submit something.
Hi, I tried emailing you at email@example.com and it bounced back. Met you at Felix’s house. Hope to hear from you soon!
I started to read what seemed like the start of a great article by Dennis Hong with the title “I fell in love too hard too soon” but when I clicked on the link, it was not there. I tried to find that article under Dennis Hong as the author and unfortunately it was nowhere to be found. How can I get a hold of what seemed like a potentially great read?
Hey there. I had to take down that article due to personal reasons. Sorry.
Thanks Dennis for your response. I tell you, it was a potentially great read! All the best!
Thanks! Without getting into too many details, I think I just posted that too soon, so maybe I’ll just give it a few more months and put it back up.
And that’s all I’m gonna say about that. 😉
Somehow, I stumbled over here off of Cracked.com and have been thoroughly enjoying myself. I was noticing the timing of the posts, which appears to be weekly. I can submit different personal journal entries, but are “assignments” given? Is each blogger given a date to write about? Just wondering about your format; I would definitely be interested!
Hey Jess, thanks for your interest! For the most part, authors come up with their own topics to write about it. If you haven’t already done so, please take a look at our submission guidelines:
These two links will give you all the information you need on submissions. Hope to hear from you!
